In the Junior Hardball Premiership Grade the Martinborough Falcons hosted the Red Star Aces in windy conditions on Saturday morning. Red Star won the toss and decided to bat. A very solid opening partnership between Jake Jonas (27*) and Michael Caldwell (22*) set Red Star up to achieve a competitive total of 111 for 6. In reply the Red Star Aces got an early break taking a wicket in their first over. The innings was then steadied by Samuel Draper (19) and Josh Nelson (14) but it was Mark Steventon who picked up the tempo up by scoring 33* off 22 balls. Ralph McLeod also chipped in with 15* as did Jamie McLeod who scored 14 runs off 9 balls. Martinborough reached 115 for the loss of 3 wickets to win the game in the 19th over.

On Friday evening in the Incrediball Super 8 Premiership Grade, the Carterton Demons were hosted at Park Sports 1 by the Lansdowne Leopards. The Carterton Demons posted a very competitive 110 runs in their 25 overs with the top scorers being C Geange and J Frew scoring 16 runs each and F Burland scoring 9 runs. The Lansdowne Leopards struggled making 45 runs in their 25 overs.
Top Bowlers for the Carterton Demons were: F Burland: 2 overs, 1 maiden for only 3 runs, J Robinson 2 overs for 7 runs and 2 wickets, J Frew 2 overs for 6 runs.
Top Bowlers for the Lansdowne Leopards were: Daniel: 2 overs, 1 maiden for 7 runs and 2 wickets, Paddy bowled 2 overs for 5 runs and Marshall bowled 2 overs for 9 runs.
Another game in the Incrediball Super 8 Premiership was played at Martinborough School and saw the Martinborough Hawks taking on the Red Star Strikers. Martinborough batted first and scored 99 runs, The Red Star Strikers fell short by 20 runs, scoring 79 in reply in the 25 overs. This means Martinborough Hawks have won 4 out of 4 games thus far.
The third game in the Incrediball Super 8 Premiership grade was between The Red Star Renegades and the Carterton Warriors played at MIS. No stats were submitted other than The Red Star Renegades came out winning the match.
Also on Friday evening in the Incrediball Super 8 Championship Grade, the Carterton Angels took on the Martinborough Pukekos at Carrington Park. The Carterton Angels batted first scoring 136 for 3, with W Cole (30) and G Hart (13) being the top scorers. The Martinborough Pukekos reached 78 for 6 in their 25 overs, meaning the Carteron Angels won by 58 runs. Best bolwers for Carterton were W Cole: 2 overs 14 runs and 2 wickets and D Oldroyd 2 overs 6 runs and wickets.
