In a see-saw match played on Park Sports Ground Number 2, Lansdowne batted first and posted a solid total in their 20 overs.

The participation of Greg Todd held a lot of interest for both sides and it was a jubilant Lansdowne side when he was dismissed in full cry. At 66 -1 it seemed that Red Star were going to cruise into the final but the dismissal of Todd saw a steady collapse.

Lansdowne have a team contesting both finals on Sunday, with their second side playing Kuranui in the opening match before their Senior side take on Greytown in the Premier final.
