Game One: Under 14’s square the ledger

Game Two: Under 14’s continue to improve
In typical Nelson sunny conditions the Wairarapa Under 14 performed well on the second day of their tournament. They stuck to their task well to bowl the strong Marlborough combination out for 202. Jack Forrester was the star bowler taking 5 – 40.
Wairarapa fell short of the target in their run chase but did well to bat their 50 overs. They reached 175 – 9 with Jack Wakeling compiling an impressive 51. A loss to the boys by 27 runs, but this was a most promising all round effort.”
