Our Wairarapa boys were exceptional both on and off the field throughout the tournament representing Wairarapa proudly. Ably led by captain Harry McIntyre, who showed great leadership qualities and always led with bat and ball, and supported by vice captain Hugo Wakeling.

Results aside the boys learnt plenty and the development of all players over the week was remarkable ensuring Wairarapa cricket is in good stead. Hawkes Bay put on the weather and day 2 proved too much for some. Makes you realise how important sleep is eh boys?

Notable performances have to go to Harry McKay who not only got 4/18 on day 3 but also included a hattrick! This was in game one of the day and helped the boys get up for a great and deserved win over Wellington Collegians in game two.
