This weekend the Wairarapa Senior Men will be hosting Horowhenua-Kapiti Senior Men at Queen Elizabeth Park in the 2 day Furlong Cup (Hawke Cup – Zone 2) match.

The team was named after Wednesday nights training and 2 new players will be playing for the Wairarapa.

Drew Macdonald at only 15 will making is debut for the men.  Drew is a medium pace bowler, is captain of the Wairarapa under 15 side and is thrilled to be named in the side.  Drew has been opening the bowling for the Lansdowne Seniors this year.

The other player making his debut  this weekend is Todd Thayer.  Todd plays for Greytown and is the only left hand batter in the side.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gordon Reisima

Gordon Reisima

 

 

Gordon Reisima is back in the side after being unavailable for the Taranaki game and will be making his 5th appearance for the men.  Gordon also plays for Greytown and has played right through the age groups for the Wairarapa.
